TVS Motor Rolls Out OBD-2B Compliant Models, Begins with Jupiter 110
Bengaluru, 3rd March 2025: TVS Motor Company, a leading global manufacturer of two-wheelers and three-wheelers, has commenced the dispatch of its OBD-2B compliant vehicles, starting with the TVS Jupiter 110. The upgraded model is now available at dealerships across India, with the base variant priced at ₹76,691 (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
TVS has confirmed that its entire vehicle lineup will be transitioned to the OBD-2B standard by the end of March 2025.
The OBD-2B compliance brings a significant technological boost to TVS vehicles, integrating advanced sensor systems and improved on-board diagnostics. These enhancements enable real-time monitoring of engine performance, air-fuel ratio, throttle response, engine temperature, fuel levels, and speed.
The on-board intelligence of OBD-2B vehicles allows continuous data analysis, ensuring that emissions remain low throughout the vehicle’s lifespan. By proactively detecting deviations in performance, the system helps maintain fuel efficiency, durability, and environmental compliance.
TVS customers can now experience the benefits of next-generation technology in the Jupiter 110, with other models set to receive similar upgrades in the coming weeks.
