Two Brothers Stabbed In Pune Over Joking Argument While Drinking Tea; Shocking CCTV Footage Emerges

Pune, 14th June 2023: A lighthearted argument turned violent when a group of four to five individuals stabbed two brothers during a tea session at Bharti Vidyapeeth Bank Market in Dhankawadi. The incident, captured on CCTV, left one person seriously injured.

The victim, identified as Rishi Barde, sustained severe injuries, while his brother Aditya Rajendra Barde lodged a complaint at Bharti Vidyapeeth Police Station. The accused have been identified as Siddesh Chorghe, Om Sawant, Aditya Gosavi, Raj Pardeshi, and Sonya Khule.

According to the police, the altercation began when Aditya jokingly provoked Siddesh Chorghe around 10.30 pm on June 13 (Tuesday). Enraged by the prank, Siddesh and his accomplices engaged in a heated argument with Aditya and Rishi. The situation quickly escalated, leading to physical assault and verbal abuse directed towards Aditya and Rishi. Shockingly, the accused resorted to stabbing Rishi repeatedly, causing a severe head injury. The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras, providing crucial evidence.

Following Aditya’s complaint, the accused have been charged under Sections 307, 143, 147, 148, 149, 323, 504, 503(2) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and relevant sections Arms Act and Maharashtra Police Act.
