Two-Wheeler Rider Killed and Pillion Passenger Injured in Road Accident

Pune, 3rd March 2023: A fatal accident occurred on Sangurdi road in Indore, resulting in the death of one person and serious injuries to another.

The deceased has been identified as Badshah Alam Rafiq Ahmed Ansari, a 24-year-old resident of Joshiwadi, Talegaon Dabhade, Taluka Maval, and originally from Uttar Pradesh. The injured person is Rajesh Hardev Nishad, a 38-year-old resident of Talegaon Dabhade, who is currently receiving treatment at a private hospital in Dehu.

According to the police, the accident occurred when the two-wheeler driven by Rajesh Nishad, with Ansari as a pillion rider, collided with a tanker traveling from Indore towards Sangurdi. The collision was caused by the tanker driver suddenly turning the vehicle, resulting in the two-wheeler being hit. Nishad was thrown off the bike, while Ansari was found under the wheels of the tanker and suffered fatal injuries. The driver of the tanker fled the scene of the accident, leaving the vehicle behind.
