Two-Wheeler Sales Soar During Gudhi Padwa In Pune

Pune, 22nd March 2023: The Regional Transport Office (RTO) in Pune has released official data showing an increase in vehicle sales compared to last year. As per the data, the number of vehicle registrations has gone up ahead of Gudhi Padwa, the Maharashtrian new year.
From March 7 to March 21, 2023, a total of 11,964 vehicles were registered, as opposed to 11,466 registrations in the same period in 2022. However, while two-wheeler purchases have increased, car and goods vehicle purchases have decreased.
Purchasing gold, vehicles, or new property on Gudhi Padwa is considered auspicious, which may be the reason for the surge in vehicle sales.
