Pune, November 16 2020: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) made a big move for foreign professionals on Sunday. The UAE said it has approved the issuance of a 10-year Golden Visa to more professionals. The announcement was tweeted by UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

According to the latest decision, the professionals who will get the benefit of this visa include PhD degree holders, physicians, engineers and some special graduates from universities.

In fact, the UAE government issues special golden visas to the talented people to settle in the Gulf and contribute to nation-building. UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, tweeted, “We have approved the decision to issue 10-year golden visas for low-class migrants.” This move of the UAE will also benefit Indians. A large number of Indian experts go to the UAE.

All PhD degree holders, doctors, computer engineers, electronics, programming, electricity and biotechnology professionals will be able to benefit from this. According to Gulf News, these visas will also be availed by graduates of UAE-accredited universities with a GPA (grade point average) of 3.8 or above. Not only this, but this visa will also be given to special degree holders who have expertise in fields like artificial intelligence and epidemiology. The great thing is that this decision has also been approved by the UAE cabinet.

Meanwhile, a piece of bad news is coming from America. Top IT company official from Infosys has said that the USA is insisting on hiring people from the US. The company has reduced its dependence on visas by over 63 per cent in the US, more than 50 per cent in Australia and New Zealand. Not only this, but the company is also no longer required to get visas for employees in markets like Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
