UGC: Approximately 200 Universities To Register For CUET 2023
New Delhi, 9th March 2023: According to University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, 200 universities in India are anticipated to register for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) – UG exams.
In an interview with News 18, Kumar predicted that the CUET UG, which has been required for 45 central universities, will now be held at 200 universities.
The use of CUET UG scores by universities, in Kumar’s opinion, will level the playing field for both students and universities.
Additionally, the UGC has established 25 help centers across India so that students can visit them and receive assistance with their online application, particularly those who reside in rural areas.
Students will be able to select the exam site of their choice, according to the UGC. There are also plans to guarantee that exam locations are 100 KM or less from the student’s domicile.
