UGC NET June 2024 Registration Ends Today, NTA to Close Application Window Soon
Pune, May 10, 2024: Today marks the deadline for registration for the National Eligibility Test (NET) June 2024 session conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The registration process, which commenced on April 20, is set to conclude tonight at 11:50 p.m. Candidates are required to pay the prescribed examination fee of Rs. 1150 through online means by May 12. Any modifications or corrections to the application form can be made until May 15.
Assistant Professor positions, eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship, or pursuing a PhD-all these aspirations drive candidates to participate in the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The registration process for the June 2024 session of UGC NET, organized by the National Testing Agency (NTA), began on April 20 and is set to close today, Friday, May 10. Candidates who haven’t registered yet are urged to submit their applications before the final moments, i.e., by tonight at 11:50 PM.
The registration for the UGC NET June 2024 session is being accepted online through the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Candidates need to visit the website, click on the application link provided on the home page, and then register on the portal provided on the subsequent page. Following registration, candidates can proceed to complete their application for the examination by logging in with their application number and date of birth.
Candidates should note that the prescribed examination fee of Rs. 1150 for UGC NET needs to be paid online during the registration process. This fee amounts to Rs. 600 for candidates belonging to the General-EWS and OBC-NCL categories, and Rs. 325 for candidates from the SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender categories. The deadline for payment of the examination fee (UGC NET 2024 Exam Fee) is May 12 until 11:50 PM.
For candidates who complete their registration by the specified date, the opportunity for necessary modifications or corrections in the application form (UGC NET June 2024 Application) will be available from May 13 to May 15, until 11:50 PM.
