Ukraine-Russia War: 219 Indians Onboard First Evacuation Flight From Bucharest To Mumbai

Mumbai, 26th February 2022: A special Air India government charter flight has taken off from Bucharest (Romania) with 219 Indians who were stranded in Ukraine after its invasion by Russia.

Union Minister Piyush Goyal will receive the 219 homebound Indians from Ukraine at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai, later this evening.

Arrangements are underway for smooth handling of arrivals.
