Undri, 6th September 2026: A samosa may be one of India’s most beloved snacks crispy on the outside, spicy on the inside and traditionally filled with a familiar potato mixture. However, at Aggrawal’s in Undri, this everyday favourite comes with a distinctive twist.
Known for its uniquely flavoured samosas and a wide variety of chaats, Aggrawal’s has emerged as a popular destination for food lovers looking to experience familiar Indian street food with a different flavour.
What immediately sets the outlet apart is its signature Punjabi samosa. Unlike the regular samosa that people are accustomed to, the filling features a distinctive blend of spices that gives it a flavour of its own. According to the menu, the Punjabi samosa is prepared with a special Punjabi black masala, while the base is made using desi ghee.
According to Varun Aggrawal, owner of Aggrawal’s, the specially prepared masala is the key element behind the samosa’s distinctive taste.
“Our samosa masala is what makes it different from the regular samosa. We have worked on the combination of spices to create a taste that people remember. The response from the public has been extremely encouraging, and many customers specifically come back for the samosa,” said Aggrawal.
The popularity of the signature samosa has also led to several variations on the menu, including samosa chaat, chole samosa and chole samosa chaat. The combination of crispy samosas with tangy chutneys, curd and chole offers customers a different experience from simply enjoying a traditional samosa.
Beyond its signature snack, Aggrawal’s offers an extensive selection of Indian chaats, including aloo tikki, chole tikki, dahi bhalla, dahi bhalla papdi chaat, pani puri, sev puri, dahi puri, masala puri and bhel.

The menu also features North Indian favourites such as parathas and chole bhature, along with popular Mumbai street-food dishes including pav bhaji and masala pav.
For Aggrawal, however, the biggest validation comes directly from customer feedback.
“When customers tell us that they can recognise the taste of our samosa immediately, that is the biggest compliment for us. We wanted to create something that feels familiar but still tastes different, and the response from people has motivated us to maintain that consistency,” he said.
Apart from taste, the outlet also places emphasis on hygiene and cleanliness. With a clean and organised environment and a focus on maintaining food quality, Aggrawal’s aims to offer customers a hygienic setting to enjoy popular Indian street food.
With its distinctive samosa, extensive chaat offerings and focus on consistency and quality, Aggrawal’s has carved out a space for itself in Undri’s growing food scene. For those looking to try a familiar snack with an unexpected twist, the outlet offers a simple proposition sometimes, the right blend of masalas can make all the difference.
