Unusual Sighting of White Crow in Pune Surprises Local Citizens
Pune, 9th April 2023: A rare white crow was spotted in Pune’s Lulla Nagar area, surprising local citizens who are accustomed to seeing black crows. The unusual sighting has caused excitement, with many locals taking pictures of the bird.
According to experts, this type of crow is very rare, occurring in only one in ten thousand crows, and is caused by a genetic disorder that leads to albinism or leucism, resulting in a lack of pigment in the feathers.
A similar sighting of a white crow was reported two years ago in the Shirur area.
