Various programs under Pune Railway Division to mark 75th anniversary Independence

Pune, 16th July 2022: Various programs are being organized all over the country to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the independence. Various programs are being organized on Indian Railways as well. It will be started on 18th July in Pune and by Additional Divisional Railway Manager Brijesh Kumar Singh at Satara.

 

The programs include lighting and decoration on these two stations throughout the week, patriotic songs on digital screen, dissemination of audio, video on the importance of music freedom, street plays underlining the history of the stations, interviews and honors with freedom fighters and their families. Stickers, banners, posters of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav will be put up at stations and in trains. To increase public participation by organizing a light and sound show on the replica of Shaniwar Wada at Pune station, selfie points will be made in the backdrop showing the train of independence and the station.

 

To make people aware about the historical facts related to vehicles, information related to the freedom struggle, a photo exhibition has also been organized. The telecast of programs organized at the Railway Ministry and Mumbai Headquarters on 18th and 23rd July will also be shown through video at the station. Apart from this, many programs will also be organized this week. The week will end with special programs at Pune and Satara stations on 23rd July.
