Vasant More Questions Valmik Karad’s Surrender, Calls It a “Staged Performance”

Pune, 1st January 2025: Politician Vasant More has raised doubts about the recent surrender of Valmik Karad, describing the event as theatrical and questioning the motives behind it. The surrender has sparked widespread debate in Pune, especially as a large crowd of Karad’s supporters and media personnel were present at the CID office even before his arrival.
Criticizing the event, More referred to it as a “staged performance” rather than an act of genuine accountability. “This appears to be a well-scripted drama designed to attract attention rather than a sincere gesture,” he said, hinting at possible political motives.
Sources suggest that Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has instructed the police to take strict action in this case, leaving Karad with little choice but to surrender.
The incident has stirred political discourse in the state, with many questioning the circumstances surrounding the surrender and its broader implications.
