Vehicles Vandalised In Pimpri-Chinchwad During New Year Celebration

Pimpri-Chinchwad, January 1, 2021: In Pimpri-Chinchwad, vehicles were vandalized on the first day of the new year. Two persons got drunk while celebrating the New Year and had an argument for a minor reason.

After this, the accused in two groups vandalized six vehicles with a scythe. The incident took place at Mohan Nagar in Chinchwad around midnight. Police have arrested 13 people, including a minor, in the case.

According to police, some youths had gathered at Mohan Nagar to celebrate the New Year. They had a drink. But, for some trivial reason, they argued. They destroyed the glass six four-wheelers and rickshaws parked on the side of the road with a scythe.
