‘Venus Art Fest’ to present work of 45 veteran artists
Pune, June 4, 2019 : Pune’s art lovers are going to get a chance to witness various artworks of legendary artists. With the motto of attracting new viewers to art and to encourage more people to become art connoisseurs, ‘Venus Art Fest 2019‘ is on its way. The exhibition will be held from Saturday, June 8, 2019 to Monday, June 10, 2019 at Balgandharva Rangmandir Kaladalan, Jangali Maharaj Road, Pune. Entry to this three-day exhibition will be open and free for all in between 11 am and 7.30 pm on all days.
The fest will showcase various art-forms such as pencil drawing, charcoal painting, crayon painting, oil pastel painting, sculptures and many more. Surendra Karamchandani of Venus Traders has organised this event that includes workshops and demos of 45 veteran artists. Legendary artists like Ravi Paranjape, Murli Lahoti,Raosaheb Gurav, Shobha Patki, Manjiri More, Snehal Page, Dinkar Jadhav, Jayprakash Japtap, Pandurang Tathe, and Aditya Shirke will be participating in the exhibition.
The exhibition will be inaugurated on June 8 at 11am at the hands of MP Girish Bapat followed by demonstration of the artist Gopal Wakode, who will be showcasing his skills of creating unique customized signatures for the visitors.
The 2nd day of the exhibition, i.e. June 9, is scheduled as a painting activity for children from 11 am to 1 pm followed by live demo of painting by a group of artists.
