Virat Kohli Counters Claims Of $1.38 Million Instagram Post Fee, Labels Reports Inaccurate

New Delhi, 12th August 2023: Indian cricketer Virat Kohli refuted claims on Saturday, August 12, asserting that he does not command a fee of $1,384,000 (roughly Rs 11.45 crore) for each social media post on Instagram. Kohli addressed this matter on X, previously known as Twitter.

Disputing the reports, Kohli stated on X, “Although I deeply appreciate all that I have been fortunate to receive in my life, the circulating information regarding my earnings from social media is unfounded.”

Hopper HQ’s Instagram Rich List 2023 includes both Virat Kohli and Priyanka Chopra. As per the list, Virat Kohli is reported to earn $1,384,000 for every Instagram post, whereas Priyanka Chopra’s fee is noted at $532,000 for similar posts.

Notably, the top five positions on the list are held by Cristiano Ronaldo, who commands $3,234,000 per Instagram post, followed by Lionel Messi ($2,597,000), Selena Gomez ($2,558,000), Kylie Jenner ($2,386,000), and Dwayne Johnson ($2,326,000).

In the Instagram Rich List 2023, Virat Kohli and Priyanka Chopra secure the 14th and 29th ranks respectively, among the top 100 public figures.
