Vishwastha Parishad (Trustees Symposium), Pune 2016

Public Trust Practioners’ Association and Symbiosis, Pune held a press conference, today at the Patrakar Bhavan to announce ‘Vishwastha Parishad (Trustees Symposium), Pune 2016’.

The ‘Vishwastha Parishad’ will be held on April 22, 2016 from 11:30 am to 2:00pm at Symbiosis Vishwabhavan Auditorium, Senapati Bapat Road, Pune.

Dignitaries who will be present at the symposium – Shri Sharad Pawar, Former Minister of Agriculture, Government of India, Shri Girish Bapat, Guardian Minister, Pune Division, Smt. Sindhutai Sapakal also known as Mother of Orphans, Shri Shashikant Savle, Charity Commissioner, Maharashtra, Shri Shiv Kumar Dighe, Joint Charity Commissioner, Pune Division, Padma Bhushan Dr S.B. Mujumdar, Founder and Presidents, Symbiosis and Dr Vidya Yeravdekar, Principal Director, Symbiosis Society.

Joint Charity Commissioner, Pune Division, Shri Shiv Kumar Dighe, today stated, “We always motivate people who are genuinely interested to start an NGO for a good cause. Within a days’ time registration and legalization of such NGOs is processed. There should be coordination between the public trust and charity commissioner related to problems like registration, audit, legalization and submission of documents among others. This will help in smooth flow and also fill up the gap between the two entities. At the symposium an hour is been dedicated for Q&A session. Shri Shashikant Savle, Charity Commissioner, Maharashtra will also be addressing the crowd.”

In her address Principal Director, Symbiosis Society, Dr Vidya Yeravdekar, highlighted that this is the first time Vishwastha Parishad at such a large scale is being organized in Pune. “Trustees from various sectors like education, hospital, temple and NGOs among others will be present for the symposium. We cordially welcome all the trustees from Pune to be a part of this event. Various challenges faced by trustees will be addressed at this symposium.”
