Vocalist Dr. Kalyani Bondre awarded in International Song Contest

Pune-based classical vocalist Dr. Kalyani Bondre has been selected among the first three winners globally in the song contest of Graduate Women International to mark its Centenary Year . The song ‘Education’, written, composed and sung by Bondre has been selected for the Third Prize in an international contest which had called for entries worldwide. The song will be performed at the GWI Centenary conference to be held at Geneva in July this year. The song has been written by Bondre in line with the motto of GWI of empowering women through education, as well as the theme of the Centenary conference, ‘Peace through Education’.
