Mumbai, 14th December 2022: Vocational education will soon begin to be offered in Maharashtra’s schools to kids in class 6th and above.

Maharashtra’s School Education Minister, Deepak Kesarkar, said that the concept will be applied soon.

He said, “We must provide the world with trained power. The vocational subjects must be carefully chosen by schools.”

According to the minister, the fundamental motivation for the decision’s implementation is to ensure that students can meet all future global vocational demands.

He added, “Not that everyone in the world is a doctor, engineer, or scientist. We also require carpenters, electricians, and plumbers.”

The minister announced that in the future, the government will collaborate with the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and other organizations to offer schools projects on vocational education.
