Wagh Bakri Tea Group to expand presence of  Mili Tea

After a robust response to Wagh Bakri tea in Pune, Wagh Bakri Tea Group now plans to expand the presence of it’s second largest selling brand – ‘Mili’ across Maharashtra.

Mili brand was introduced in the year 1994. Its leaves are handpicked from select quality gardens that give rich colour ensuring more cuppage, thus fulfilling the objective of providing a consistently good quality at an affordable price band.

Mili tea is available in attractive poly pack & foils jar pack and is available from Re.1 to 5 kg wholesale pack which includes Leaf, Dust & Fanning Variants. The Mili tea blend available in Maharashtra has been customized to suit the local preferences and tea preparation techniques.It is noteworthy that the demand of brand ‘Mili’ in Maharashtra is growing exponentially.

Mili is available across major parts of India such as – Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Goa, Rajasthan, New Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

Wagh Bakri Tea Group has launched a new TVC to promote ‘Mili’ Tea. In the latest ‘Mili’ TVC Ms Sakshi Tanwar, the brand ambassador tactfully conveys the message of woman empowerment. In the TVC a buyer opts for Mili Tea after being assured by Ms Tanwar in her unique accent, of key benefits such as assured quality, more cuppage and a budget friendly product in an interesting manner.

Mili and Navchetan brands from Wagh Bakri Tea Group are popular in tier II and III cities. Wagh Bakri Tea brand is also gaining market share with its speciality tea range consisting of Green Tea, Ice Tea, Instant Tea (with and without sugar) and Organic Tea.“We are confident of increasing the market share of Mili tea in Maharashtra through sustained engagement with the consumer”, said Mr Yogesh Shinde, Vice President, Marketing, Wagh Bakri Tea Group.

The company operates 14 tea lounges pan-India and rapidly assessing proposal to increase the number of ‘Wagh Bakri Tea Lounge’ and ‘Wagh Bakri Tea World’. The ‘Wagh Bakri Tea Lounge’ offers a unique experience surrounding tea. These lounges offer more than 45 varieties of teas and a wide range of snacks. It is noteworthy that these lounges have become popular amongst all age groups.
