Wagholi to Hinjawadi, Janata Vasahat to Shivajinagar, Shewalewadi to Bibwewadi: PMPML Adds Three New Bus Routes in Pune
Pune, 21st July 2025: In response to increasing commuter demand, the Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has announced the launch of three new city bus routes to enhance connectivity across key areas of Pune. These new services will begin operating from July 22 and July 25, 2025.
PMPML officials said the new routes aim to provide convenient and affordable public transport options for students, office-goers, senior citizens, and daily commuters.
Details of Newly Introduced Routes:
Route No. 289: Shewalewadi to Annabhau Sathe Bus Stop Upper Depot
Start Date: July 22, 2025
Bus Count: 6
Frequency: Every 30 minutes
Route:
Shewalewadi → Hadapsar → Ramtekdi → Fatimanagar → Jagtap Chowk → Shinde Chhatri → Defense Colony → Gangadham Chowk → Vasant Bagh → Bibwewadi → Lower Indiranagar → Annabhau Sathe Bus Stop Upper Depot.
Route No. 328: Wagholi Bus Stop to Hinjawadi Maan Phase 3

Wagholi → Diamond Water Park → Dadachi Padal → Lohgaon → Dhanorigaon → Vishrantwadi → Mhaskevasti → Dighi → Bhosari PMT Chowk → Landewadi → Shivar Chowk → Mankar Chowk → Infosys Phase 1 & 2 → Gangaramwadi Circle → Hinjawadi Maan Phase 3.
Route No. 10: Janata Vasahat Apal Chowk to Shivajinagar

Janata Vasahat Apal Chowk → Ganesh Mala → Pan Mala → Dandekar Bridge → Laxminarayan → Swargate → Saras Bagh → Shanipar → A.B. Chowk → Pune Municipal Corporation → Shimla Office → Shivajinagar.

PMPML has urged the general public, including students, working professionals, women, and senior citizens, to make full use of the new bus routes. The transport body added that these additions are part of ongoing efforts to improve last-mile connectivity and reduce dependence on private vehicles.
