Warning Issued for Nashik, Pune, and Satara Districts: Thunderstorm and Rain Expected
Pune, 15th April 2024: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) in Mumbai has issued a nowcast warning at 1730 Hrs IST on April 15, 2024, for several districts in Maharashtra. Residents of Nashik, Pune, and Satara districts are advised to take precautionary measures as thunderstorm accompanied by lightning and light to moderate spells of rain is very likely to occur at isolated places within the next 3-4 hours.
Gusty winds reaching speeds of 30-40 kmph are expected to accompany the thunderstorm, posing potential risks to outdoor activities and transportation. The IMD’s warning emphasizes the importance of exercising caution while venturing outside during this period.
