Pune: 50-Year-Old Woman Arrested for Selling Ganja in Wakad Slum
Wakad, 15th April 2024: The Anti-Narcotics Cell of Pimpri Chinchwad Police arrested a woman on Saturday (13th April) afternoon in connection with the sale of ganja (marijuana) at the Mhatoba Nagar slum in Wakad.
Police Constable Prasad Jangilwad filed a complaint at Wakad Police Station regarding the incident.
A 50-year-old woman was detained by Wakad police after receiving information about her involvement in selling ganja in the slum. A total of 272 grams of ganja and a mobile phone valued at Rs 18,600 were seized during the operation. The police have opened an investigation into the matter.
