Water Supply Cut Announced By Pune Municipal Corporation On 21st November

Pune, 17th November 2023: The Pune Municipal Corporation’s Water Supply Department has announced that repair work on the SNDT HLR and Chaturshringi pipeline connection, located under the Warje water treatment centre, along with maintenance of the water channel leading to Chandni Chowk BPT, is scheduled for next Tuesday ie November 21.

Simultaneously, repair work on the water channel at Kondhawe Dhawade Tank will also be undertaken. Consequently, water supply to several parts of the city will be temporarily suspended for the entire day on Tuesday.

Chief Engineer of the PMC’s Water Supply and Pumping Department, Nandkishore Jagtap, has informed citizens that on Wednesday, the 22nd, water supply will resume but may be delayed until later in the morning and could be at lower pressure. Pune residents are urged to use water judiciously during this period and cooperate with the municipality.
