Water Supply Disruption Hits Pimpri Chinchwad: Wakad, Rahatani, Pimple Nilakh, Sangvi Among Areas Affected

Pimpri Chinchwad, 27th January 2024: A leakage in the Thergaon Gravity line in Walhekarwadi has resulted in the cessation of water supply to Sector 23 since yesterday evening. The impact of this incident is widespread, affecting various areas including Wakad, Thergaon, Kalewadi, Rahatani, Pimple Nilakh, Pimple Saudagar, and Sangvi.

The urgency of the situation has prompted the Water Supply Department of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) to undertake immediate measures to address the issue. However, as a consequence of the necessary repairs, residents in the affected regions should anticipate disruptions and reduced water supply, officials said.

PCMC’s Water Supply Department has assured citizens that the restoration process is underway and is expected to be completed by today evening.
