Water Supply In Most Parts Of Pune City Will Be Cut Off On Thursday

Pune, 1st February 2022: The water supply department of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has informed that on Wednesday in the central part of Pune city water supply will be closed from 10 pm on February 2 to 10 pm on February 3. The department also stated that the water supply in some parts of the city will also be cut off for a full day on Thursday (February 3).

However, water supply will resume in most parts of the city including the Peth area on Friday (February 4) late in the morning with low pressure.

The water supply from Parvati LLR tank under the jurisdiction of Parvati water station will be cut off on Thursday for the connection of the main pipeline and newly laid pipeline as well as for new Holkar and Chikhali pumping area, electrical and pumping works at Bhama Askhed water station.

The water supply department of Pune Municipal Corporation shared the names of water supply cut-off areas:

1)Bhama Askhed Water station: Lohegaon, Vimannagar, Wadgaon Sheri, Kalyani Nagar, Vishrantwadi, Phulenagar, Yerawada, etc.

2)Parvati (LLR) Water Station: All Peth areas in the city, Deccan, Shivajinagar, Bhavani Peth, and Nana Peth.

3)Lashkar water treatment plant: The Kauserbag area, NIBM Road, Undri Road, Salunkhe Vihar Road, Lonakar Garden, some parts of Wanwadi, Kondhwa Gaothan, Bhagyodaynagar, Mithanagar, Shivnerinagar, Lane No. 1, No. 354, Brahma Estate, Krishna Cable, Fakri Hill, Kubera Park, Lullanagar, Jambhulkar Chowk, Vikasnagar, Jagtap Nagar, etc.

4)New Holkar and Chikhali pumping areas: Vidyanagar, Tingrenagar, Kalas, Dhanori, Mula Road, etc.
