Pune, 31st March 2025: The city has witnessed a significant rise in temperature since this morning, prompting the India Meteorological Department (IMD) to predict possible rainfall in different parts of Pune. This shift in weather patterns is attributed to specific atmospheric developments occurring in Maharashtra.

According to the Pune Meteorological Department, certain areas, including Pune, may receive rainfall tomorrow due to a cyclonic system that has formed over Marathwada, influencing overall weather conditions.
Additionally, the IMD has forecasted thunderstorms and strong winds. As a precaution, a Yellow Alert has been issued for the Pune district for the next four days.

Starting tomorrow, the intense heat is expected to subside, leading to a humid atmosphere that increases the likelihood of rainfall in Pune and nearby areas. Some parts of Maharashtra may also experience rain over the next two to three days. Citizens have been advised to take necessary precautions.

The IMD emphasized that the changing weather conditions are directly linked to the cyclonic system over Marathwada, which is impacting atmospheric dynamics across the region.
