Weather Update: IMD Forecasts Rain In Pune City From November 24 To 27

Pune, 21st November 2023: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) provides the latest weather forecast for Pune and its surrounding areas. From November 24 to 27, rain is highly anticipated.

22nd November: Expect a mainly clear sky with morning haze.

23rd November: The sky will transition from mainly clear to partly cloudy in the afternoon/evening, with morning haze persisting.

24th November: Anticipate a shift from partly cloudy to generally cloudy sky in the afternoon/evening, accompanied by thundery activity. Very light to light rain is likely.

25th November: The sky will change from partly cloudy to generally cloudy in the afternoon/evening, with thundery activity and a likelihood of light to moderate rain.

26th November: A transition from partly cloudy to generally cloudy sky is expected in the afternoon/evening, with a forecast of light to moderate rain.

27th November: The sky will become generally cloudy in the afternoon/evening, with a possibility of very light to light rain.

Anupam Kashyapi, Head of Weather Forecasting at IMD Pune, stated, “Due to a strong easterly wave, there is a high likelihood of rain over Maharashtra (Light/Moderate rain in districts of Konkan-Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, light rain in SW-Vidarbha) from the afternoon of the 23rd onward until the 27th of November, followed by a decrease in minimum temperatures. There is a chance of rain in Pune from the 24th to the 27th of November.”
