We’ll spread the glory of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the world: CM Uddhav Thackeray

Junnar, February 19, 2021: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj has a firm place in our hearts. We remember him for every good work he did. Why do we consider him God because he had the valour and brave heart who held the sword in hand. Today, for fighting against Covid-19 we need such valour and brave heart and this inspiration we get from him, said Maharashtra State Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.

He was speaking at Shivneri fort on the occasion of Shiv Jayanti. He said, “We will spread the glory of Shivaji Maharaj in the world”.

Deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar, tourism minister Aditya Thackeray, MP Chhatrapati Sambhajiraje, MP Dr Amol Kolhe, MLA Atul Benke, MLA Vinayak Mete, Divisional Commissioner Saurabh Rao, District Collector Rajesh Deshmukh, Superintendent of Police Abhinav Deshmukh, Zilla Parishad CEO Ayush Prasad and many other officials were present.

“This is the second year I am attending the birth celebrations of Shivaji Maharaj. This was possible only because of his blessings and your love. He always defeated his enemy and we need to follow him for defeating the enemy like Corona”, Thackeray added.

Ajit Pawar said, “Shiv Jayanti is the celebration of our hopes and aspirations, fulfillment of dreams.  We are lucky to have been born and brought up in this golden land of Shivaji Maharaj.”
