Widespread Rain Soaks Pune; IMD Forecasts Cloudy Skies Ahead
Pune, 30th October 2025: Residents of Pune woke up to steady rain on Thursday morning as widespread showers lashed several parts of the city and surrounding areas. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), intermittent rainfall is likely to continue till November 1, followed by partly cloudy skies in the subsequent days.
As per IMD’s 03 UTC (8:30 am IST) report dated October 30, 2025, Lohgaon recorded the highest rainfall in the city with 27.4 mm, closely followed by Haveli (27.0 mm) and Shivajinagar (20.1 mm). Other areas also witnessed moderate rainfall — Koregaon Park (17.5 mm), Chinchwad (7.5 mm), Talegaon (7.5 mm), Pashan (6.0 mm), NDA (5.5 mm), Bhor (4.5 mm), Lavale (4.0 mm), and Kurvande (4.0 mm).
