With 2.21 Lakh Doses Today, Pune District Crosses 80 Lakh Mark For COVID Vaccination

Pune, 31st August 2021: A mega anti-COVID vaccination drive was taken in the Pune district today. As per the Cowin.gov.in data, till 6 pm a total of 2.21 lakh doses were administered to the people.
Pune Zilla Parishad (ZP) CEO Ayush Prasad said that the drive has been a success with the efforts of our staff and the enthusiasm of people. The vaccination was done at 195 centres in Pune rural areas. Till 5 pm, about 1.38 lakh doses were given in the rural areas.
The Bajaj Group had given 1.5 lakh doses while state and central government had provided about 70,000 doses.
