Woman From Pune Found Dead In Her Apartment In UK, Husband Charged For Her Murder
Headingley (UK), 11th September 2022: A woman was found seriously injured at her home in Victoria Road, Hyde Park, Headingley by Emergency Services on 6th September, post 6 pm. Though she was immediately taken to the hospital, she was pronounced dead sometime later.
Harleen Kaur Satpreet Gandhi (age 32) was found in her apartment by Emergency Services after they received reports of disturbances from the house on Monday. Following the incident, the deceased woman’s husband, Satpreet Singh Gandhi (age 37), was arrested and charged with her murder at Kirkstall Road. He was due to appear at the Leeds Magistrates Court on the morning of 8th September.
According to a report by BBC News, Satpreet Singh Gandhi was remanded in custody and is now due to appear at the Leeds Crown Court on 12th September. The report further states that detectives from the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team are carrying out further investigation, and are open to speaking to anyone who noticed any suspicious activities.
Harleen Kaur’s family is currently in Pune and has been struggling to acquire a Visa. Her family requires support and assistance to quickly get a Visa in place to go to their daughter.
