Woman Police Constable Kidnaps Youth, Demands Kidney Or Rs 10 Lakh As Ransom

Pimpri, December 11, 2020: A woman police constable from Pimpri who allegedly had an illicit relationship with a youth, abducted him with the help of her relatives and demanded Rs 10 lakh or his kidney as ransom.

He was taken to a forest near Indapur and beaten. The youth’s mobile phone was smashed to destroy the photo and video evidence of the youth and the police constable. The accused demanded a ransom of Rs 10 lakh or a kidney from the youth.

The 21-year-old youth from Nigdi has lodged an FIR with Wakad police station against the accused persons. The accused woman police constable is posted with the Pimpri traffic division. Her relative is posted at the Shivajinagar police headquarters in Pune. The woman and the complainant had an estranged relationship. She had taken some money from him. The accused called him to meet at the Royal Court Society in Thergaon on December 5 (Saturday) under the pretext of returning his money.

Accordingly, the complainant went there around 10:15 am. The accused then forcibly put him in a car and took him to a forest near Indapur. There he was beaten with a wooden stick and a sharp weapon. Meanwhile, the accused took his mobile phone and destroyed it to delete their photos and videos. The accused then demanded a ransom of Rs 10 lakh from him. He was threatened to pay Rs 10 lakh or else they would remove his kidney.  Later he was released on the same day.
