Work in Public Transport by Pune Based MP Group received international acknowledgment 

Pune, May 24: Presently public transport is a key issue for the nation as well as for every major city in the country. The government is also trying to make public transport services more efficient. With this they are aiming at turning the state-of-the-art transport service into a smart solution on smart city projects. Contributing and supporting to this concept, Pune based MP Group which is a Transport service provider to Noida Metro Rail Corporation has received appreciation internationally for the outstanding work done by the group in this area. NMRC has recently been honoured with ‘India Recognition’ Award by the International Association of Public Transport (UITP) for their tremendous work done in public transport with the help of MP Group. 

This award was given to NMRC in the category of Public Transport Strategy for their excellent work.  This ceremony held during the Global Public Transport Summit organized by UITP in Montreal, Canada. The award was given at the hands of Alain Flausch, General Secretary of UITP to Ravindra Naik, Managing Director of Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC).

Based on the public private partnership, Noida metro rail corporation with support of MP Group is providing this service to the public for the last six months. This service is being used by around 10 thousand passengers every day. These buses have been using high-tech facilities such as Air-conditioning, CCTV cameras, LED lights, GPS systems, ITNS systems, specialty care for specially challenged (disabled)and many more. These buses run on CNG and to maintain these buses there is a team of 60 to 70 people equipped with automatic washing centers. The group has constructed a bus depot in the area of 8 acres and the operation and maintenance of these buses are being done through MP Group. 

The MP Group has been working in the service sector for 35 years, in which services like security arrangements, facility management, logistics and support to projects like Smart City are included. In the same way, for more than two years the group is providing bus service to NMRC. In this service, till now there are 50 hi-tech buses running on 6 routes of the city.
