World Book of Records London Honours Pune-based Dr Jitendra Joshi

Pune, 17th June 2021: City-based Dr Jitendra Joshi, Managing Director of Abhi Group of Companies has been honoured by the World Book of Records London.

He has received a certificate of commitment from World Book of Records’ Europe Head Wilhelm Zeislar for the notable work during the Covid-19 pandemic through Abhi Group and Abhi Charitable Trust. A few days ago, he was also honoured with the CSR Shining Star Award by Governor of Maharashtra, Bhagat Singh Koshyari for his social work.

Abhi Group and Abhi Charitable Trust provided help to Doctors, nurses, medical staff, the police force and various sections of the underprivileged people for the last one and a half years. He distributed medical equipment and goods throughout the country during the difficult times of Corona. Pune, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Latur, Nashik, Pandharpur, Belgaum, Kolkata, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Ajmer, Banaras, Kochi, Indore, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh in these cities the needy were helped by providing PPE kits, sanitisers, masks, food grains and other essential items.

N-95 masks, face shields, and steam machines were given to the 800 policemen. Deputy Commissioner of Police Priyanka Naranware, Pankaj Deshmukh, Inspector General of Police Crime Branch Praveen Salunke And Ranjan Sharma distributed aid to the police. By the hands of veteran actor Vikram Gokhale, distributed two months’ grain to 300 Brahmin Pandits. Barber was given meal kits, napkins and other items. In addition, necessary materials and safety equipment were provided to orphanages and old age homes. Blood collection was done through blood donation camps.
