Yamlapalli is Champion at ITF 25K Precision Solapur Open Tennis Tournament

Solapur, December 24, 2033: Sahaja Yamlapalli of India emerged singles winner at the $25000 Precision Solapur Open Womens ITF Tennis Tournament which is being organized by Solapur District Lawn Tennis Association(SDLTA) in association with MSLTA and played MSLTA Tennis Center, Solapur

In the finals the 23 year old and 412th ranked Sahaja won her third career title overcoming Rio Olympic Doubles gold winner and 186th ranked Ekaterina Makarova of Russia 6-4 6-3 in the finals

It was Sahaja’s second 25K title and the win will take her 72 places higher to a new ranking of about 340 next week

The winner Sahaja Yamalapalli got Precision trophy and Rs.3,29,605र/-, while runner up Ekaterina Makarova received trophy and Rs. 1,29,881/-. The prizes were given away at the hands of Mr.Yatin Shah of Precision, Dr.Shantanu Gandhi and Mr.Siddharth Gandhi of Oasis Mall. Tournament director and Jt Sec of Mslta Rajiv Desai was present on the occasion
