Yerawada : Six two-wheelers, bikes set ablaze and vandalized by a mob

Pune, October 16, 2020: A gang had allegedly set ablaze and vandalized the two-wheelers parked on the road. The incident took place on Thursday at midnight in Laxminagar area of Yerawada. A total of six bikes were damaged in the incident. Police have arrested three suspects and are investigating the case.

Somnath Gaikwad (35) a resident of Laxminagar has lodged a complaint in the Yerawada Police Station. As the area is densely populated, many people park their vehicles on the side of the road. On Thursday, a mob of two-wheelers came and revolted. They had set ablaze and vandalized six two-wheelers. Few two-wheelers were severely damaged.

When the mob set ablaze two-wheelers, citizens had gathered to see what was going on. On getting informed, Assistant Police Inspector Nanavare and his team rushed to the spot. The three suspects have been arrested and are being investigated.
