Zero Deaths Reported In PMC, Municipal Councils (NP) And Cantonments Today
Pune, 21st October 2021: A total of 348 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 371 people were discharged from hospitals. 02 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
Today, A total of 46,266 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 1,17,51,882. About 77,12,355 people have got the first dose while 40,39,527 people have got two doses.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 4070 active patients in the district and 1944 of them are admitted to hospitals while 2126 are in home isolation. Out of 348 new cases, 79 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 66 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 20 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 03 in cantonments, and 180 in rural areas.
Among the 02 deaths, one was in PCMC, and one was in rural areas. Out of 371 discharged patients, 83 were in PMC, 89 were in PCMC, 30 were in municipal councils, 02 were in cantonments, and 167 were in rural areas.
