Zilingo CEO Ankiti Bose Seeks Protection From Singaporean Court Over Receiving Threats

Singapore, 28th May 2022: Singapore-based fashion startup Zilingo’s co-founder and CEO Ankiti Bose, who was removed from the company has been receiving rape threats.

Troubled by threats and hate messages, Ankiti Bose has sought protection from a Singapore court.

Zilingo had removed Ankiti due to alleged financial irregularities. According to Zilingo, the decision to suspend Bose was taken jointly by the board and not by any investor.

Company’s co-founder Ankiti wrote on her social media account – “My personal photos, chats, documents, records were taken wrongly without my consent. It is circulating on the internet. It is fake but still harmful. I don’t know who is doing this.”

Ankti further said, “My apps are full of hate messages and baseless negative press. I have never experienced threats of hatred and violence on this scale before. There are many questions that need to be answered, but for the time being my priorities are the safety of mental and physical health.”

She further writes, “I legally demand protection. I tried to ignore it at first but the rape threats have compelled me.”

Ankiti claims that she has not yet seen the complaints that have been filed by the company. Ankti said that she was fired through e-mail by the company which was founded.
