NSG HALF MARATHON ON SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 18

New Delhi – The NSG Half Marathon is being organized on 18.11.2018 (Sunday). The assembly of the participants shall be at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.  All the runs shall be flagged off from Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium and will finish at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.There are 5 categories of runs:

5. SuperChamps Run – 03 Km

ENTRYTO JAWAHAR LAL NEHRU STADIUM

Entryfor all to the stadium is through Gate Nos. 05, 06 & 10 only.

Allinvitees, participants and spectators intending to go to Jawaharlal NehruStadium shall reach before 05:30 AM. Restrictions on general traffic shall beimposed after 06:00 AM and will stay in force till 10:00 AM (approx.).

PARKING PLAN

Theparticipants can park their vehicles at the following parking places:-

(i)                Barapullah Parking

(ii)              Sunehri Pullah Parking

(iii)            Dayal Singh College Parking

(iv)            Inside Scope Complex

(v)              Inside Gate No.6, Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium (VIPParking)

RESTRICIONS ON ROADS (06:00 AM to 09:00 AM)

Motorists are advised for their own convenience to avoid the following roads:

TRAFFIC DIVERSIONS (06:00 AM to 9:00AM)

Traffic will not be permitted onroute of NSG Half Marathon from 06.00 AM to 09:00 AM. Similarly traffic willalso not be permitted towards the route from any internal/colonies roads.  However cross traffic may be permittedwhenever there is sufficient gap between the Runners at any particularintersection.

EMERGENCY VEHICLES

Allemergency vehicles including vehicles of Delhi Police, Ambulances, Fire Brigadeand other Emergency Service Vehicles are allowed to cross the route of marathonduring emergent situations, when proceeding on emergency duties to saveprecious lives of people.

SPECIALINSTRUCTIONS TO PUBLIC

Adequate traffic arrangements have been made for diversion and regulation of traffic.General public and motorists are also advised to use public transport to avoid congestion on roads. General public and motorists are advised to plan their journeys keeping the Half Marathon in mind and advance their journeys so that delay can be taken into account. Motorists are advised to follow the directions of the traffic policemen posted on roads to avoid inconvenience.
