100 Startups, Rs 2 Lakh Prize Pool: DYP Ventura 2026 Set for September 26-28 in Pune
Pune, 19th September 2026: The second edition of DYP Ventura, a startup pitching and networking platform, will be held from September 26 to 28, 2026, at D. Y. Patil College of Engineering (DYPCOE), Akurdi, Pune.
Organised by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC), DYPCOE, the three-day event will bring together startups, investors, mentors, entrepreneurs and industry professionals, with 100 startups getting an opportunity to showcase their ventures.
The event is open not only to student startups but also to early-stage entrepreneurs, established startups and teams working to convert an idea into a business.
₹2 Lakh Prize Pool and Startup Showcase
The centrepiece of DYP Ventura 2026 is a ₹2 lakh prize pool. However, organisers said the platform is designed to offer participating founders opportunities beyond the competition and prize money.
Selected startups will get an opportunity to pitch their ventures, receive feedback from experts, interact with investors and industry professionals, build business connections and gain visibility within the startup ecosystem.
The pitching process will also give founders an opportunity to articulate the problem they are solving, the relevance of their solution, their target users and how their team plans to build and scale the venture.
700+ Registrations in First Edition
The inaugural edition of DYP Ventura in 2025 received more than 700 registrations, with 100 startups shortlisted and 20 ventures reaching the final stage.
MemoTag, PROTI-ON ENERGY and A minute man Technologies emerged as the top three ventures in the 2025 edition.
According to the organisers, the first edition demonstrated the level of interest among emerging entrepreneurs and provided startups with a platform to present their ideas, compete, network and explore opportunities for growth.
The 2026 edition will again provide a platform for 100 startups to enter the Ventura ecosystem.
Investors, Mentors and Industry Experts
DYP Ventura 2026 will also feature professionals from different areas of entrepreneurship, product development, strategy and business growth.
The expert panel includes Neelam Pandey Pathak, Founder and CEO of Rozgar Dhaba, who has experience across WIMA, NSRCEL and Stanford Seed Spark; Mrudangg Shukla, CEO of DPU Foundation for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship and a startup ecosystem enabler, mentor and strategic advisor; and Ansh Kyal, Founder of Mentor Me and former leader at Axxela, with expertise in product, strategy and growth.
Organisers said interactions with such professionals are intended to provide participating founders with feedback, new perspectives and opportunities to explore collaborations and partnerships.
Apart from startup pitching, the event will include networking, startup showcases and interactive activities aimed at bringing different stakeholders of the entrepreneurial ecosystem together.
