1152 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District, 1068 Discharged Today
Pune, 15th July 2021: A total of 1152 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 1068 people were discharged from hospitals. 9 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr. Bhagwan Pawar, there are 9707 active patients in the district and 5334 of them are admitted to hospitals while 4373 are in home isolation. Out of 1152 new cases, 334 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 228 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 76 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 13 in cantonments, and 501 in rural areas.
Among the 09 deaths, six were in PMC, two in PCMC, and one in cantonments. Out of 1068 discharged patients, 212 were in PMC, 241 were in PCMC, 46 in municipal councils, 13 in cantonments, and 556 in rural areas.
