120 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 45,970 Vaccine Doses Administered
Pune, 15th November 2021: A total of 120 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 180 people were discharged from hospitals. 03 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
Today, A total of 45,970 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 1,24,48,019. About 79,30,614 people have got the first dose while 45,17,405 people have got two doses.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 1995 active patients in the district and 1079 of them are admitted to hospitals while 916 are in home isolation. Out of 120 new cases, 48 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 32 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 06 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 03 in cantonments, and 31 in rural areas.
Among the 03 deaths, one was in PMC, one was in PCMC, and one was in rural areas. Out of 180 discharged patients, 54 were in PMC, 44 were in PCMC, 12 were in municipal councils, 0 were in cantonments, and 70 were in rural areas.
