1213 new COVID patients in Pune city, 33 deaths today

Pune, July 28, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 591 people were discharged from hospitals after being cured of COVID19 in Pune city today. Also, 1213 new patients were detected while 33 people died today. Today swab samples of 6567 people were collected for COVID tests.

 

According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 50,430 out of which 30,080 have been cured while 1215 have died. There are still 19,135 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 742 critical patients out of which 98 are on ventilator support.

 

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 18397 out of which 11962 have been cured while 303 have died. 3550 active patients are still undergoing treatment.  

 

Across Maharashtra, 7717 fresh COVID19 cases were reported today while 10,333 people got discharged from hospitals today. Also, 282 deaths have been reported in the state today. The total number of positive cases is now 3,91,440 including 2,32,277 discharged and 14,165 deaths. There are 1,44,694 active cases. The recovery rate in Maharashtra is 59.34% now.

 

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 1,483,156 across the country. Out of this, 952743 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 33425 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 496988 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
