Union Minister Prakash Javadekar reviews COVID-19 situation in Pune

Pune, 28 July 2020: Union Minister Prakash Javadekar held a meeting to review the COVID-19 situation in Pune today, along with Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Health Minister Rajesh Tope and Mayor of Pune Murlidhar Mohol. Union Minister has assured all help from the Centre to the state in the fight against COVID-19.

Speaking about the role of citizens in the battle, the Minister has appealed to Punekars to continue to follow all COVID-appropriate behaviours such as physical distancing, compulsory use of masks and face covers.

The Minister said that various matters including serological tests, Rapid Antigen Tests and other elements in the fight against COVID have been discussed at the meeting.

Javadekar said that the Centre, state and Pune corporation are all working together in this fight and that all help, including the supply of necessary ventilators, would be given to the corporation.
