121st Graduation Ceremony Of Pune University To Be Held On 27th January
Pune, 19th January 2023: The 121st graduation ceremony of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) will be held on 27th January 2023. The ceremony will be held at around 4 pm on the lawn near the main building of the university.
Governor and University Chancellor Bhagatsingh Koshyari will deliver the presidential address, while Dr Satish Reddy, Scientific Adviser to the Defense Minister in the Ministry of Defense, will be present as the Chief Guest. Savitribai Phule Pune University Vice-Chancellor Dr Karbhari Kale, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr Sanjiv Sonwane, Registrar Dr Prafulla Pawar, along with students and representatives of various bodies, will be present on this occasion.
A total of 968 students will be awarded degrees. Dr Anil Lokhande, Vice-Chancellor of the Examination Department and Director-in-Charge of the Examination and Evaluation Board, said 110 PhD students will be awarded in the ceremony, and the remaining students will receive their degrees by post.
