1254 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District, 1221 Discharged Today
Pune, 4th July 2021: A total of 1254 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients reported in the Pune district today while 1221 people were discharged from hospitals. 09 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 10,321 active patients in the district and 5899 of them are admitted to hospitals while 4422 are in home isolation. Out of 1254 new cases, 316 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 259 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 71 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 12 in cantonments and 596 in rural areas.
Among the 9 deaths, six were in PMC, one in PCMC, and two in rural areas. Out of 1221 discharged patients, 329 were in PMC, 205 were in PCMC, 84 in municipal councils, 8 in cantonments, and 595 in rural areas.
