1533 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District, 1555 Discharged Today
Pune, 7th July 2021: A total of 1533 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients reported in the Pune district today while 1555 people were discharged from hospitals. 09 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 10,122 active patients in the district and 5685 of them are admitted to hospitals while 4437 are in home isolation. Out of 1533 new cases, 432 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 320 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 130 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 15 in cantonments and 636 in rural areas.
Among the nine deaths, six were in PMC, two in PCMC, and one in rural areas. Out of 1555 discharged patients, 271 were in PMC, 337 were in PCMC, 101 in municipal councils, 20 in cantonments, and 826 in rural areas.
