16 teams for Khasdar Cup Tennis Ball Cricket tournament
Pune, May 19, 2023: A total 16 teams will participate in the Khasdar Cup Cricket tournament which is being organized by Smart Pune Foundation and will be played at Shinde Highschool Ground, Sahakar Nagar on 20th and 21st May 2023.
Shri. Prakash Javdekar, Member of Parliament informed in a press conference the tournament is being organized to celebrate 9 years completion anniversary of the Central Government and as a part of the Sansad Khel Mahostav. Over 117 Member of Parliament (MP) accross the country are hosting events which is attracting young players in different sports , he added
The tournament will be inaugurated at the hands of former Maharashtra Captain Shantanu Sugwekar , Smt. Madhuri Misal MLA and Mr Javdekar while the prizes will be given away at the hands of Mr Chandu Borde and Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil
SMG Champion Sanghvi, Alam Bhai Pathan Cricket Club Warje, Humraaz Mrutyunjay Kothrud, Yuvraj Gogawale Pratishthan Shivganga Khore, Raheem XI Kharadi, Yashvant bhau Pasange Pratishthan Shirur, Sachinbhau Shelke Yuva Manch Dhankawadi, Maitri Pratishthan Kothrud, Shree Tej XI Bhosari, Indiranagar Cricket Club Indiranagar, Late Sanjay Shelke & Late Rushikesh Wanjle Pratishthan Kothrud, Karnavee Kesari Pratishthan Karad, Maitri Group Manchar, Sahyadri Pratishthan Sahkarnagar, Ganeshbhau Jadhav XI Katraj, Rajmudra Group Kothrud will be seen in action. The tournament will be played under knockout basis.
The winning team will get trophy and Rs.75,000, the runner-up team will be get Rs.51,000 and a trophy and third place will get trophy and Rs.25000/-. Apart from this Best batsman, Best bowler will get trophy and Rs.5000/- each, while Man of the series will received trophy and Rs.11000/-.
