16-Year-Old Boy in Pune Ends Life After Father’s Anger Over Bike Use

Uruli Kanchan, 18th April 2024: In Pune, a schoolboy took his own life by hanging himself, reportedly due to his father’s anger, in the Uruli Kanchan area. The boy has been identified as Shriraj Santosh Sonawane, a 16-year-old resident of Uruli Kanchan.

Shriraj had recently appeared for his ninth-grade exams and was studying at a school in the area. The incident occurred after Shriraj’s father expressed anger over the boy using a two-wheeler. Shriraj ended his life by hanging himself at home.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the police arrived at the scene. Shriraj was taken to the hospital for treatment, but he passed away before medical assistance could be provided. A case of sudden death has been registered at the Uruli Kanchan Police Station in connection with the incident.

Shriraj’s father works as an employee at a bank in the Shivajinagar area. This loss of a young life highlights the importance of communication and support within families.
