161 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 23,415 Vaccine Doses Administered
Pune, 05th December 2021: A total of 161 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 161 people were discharged from hospitals. 02 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
Today, A total of 23,415 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 1,36,09,750. About 82,68,598 people have got the first dose while 53,41,152 people have got two doses.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 1880 active patients in the district and 633 of them are admitted to hospitals while 1247 are in home isolation. Out of 161 new cases, 81 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 39 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 09 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 01 in cantonments, and 31 in rural areas.
Among the 02 deaths, one was in PMC, and one was in rural areas. Out of 161 discharged patients, 88 were in PMC, 34 were in PCMC, 06 were in municipal councils, 03 were in cantonments, and 30 were in rural areas.
